Track Description
Starting at the car park, Lulworth Cove, the walk follows the South West Coast Path around the cove and east into the MOD army firing range. This section of path is only open on Bank Holidays and most weekends. The walk is described as severe on the SWCP website and offers some steep climbs. The views are stunning at times. Also available nearby on this walk is a detour into the deserted village of Tyneham. The MOD took over the land in 1943 and later took out a compulsory purchase order, denying villagers return to their homes.
